Okay, so I decided to get a new kitten! Super exciting, right? But then came the hard part – picking a name! I wanted something unique, and for some reason, I got stuck on names starting with “B”. Don’t ask me why, just felt right.
First, I brainstormed. I literally just sat down with a pen and paper and started writing down any “B” name that popped into my head.
- Buddy
- Bella
- Bandit
I think I stared at that list for a good hour. Nothing was really jumping out.
Digging a Bit Deeper
I am not so satisfied with those names. So I decide to do a search on Google.
I typed in “cat names starting with B,”. I found a lot of websites that were dedicated to pet names.
And I pick some of them I really like.
- Bailey:It is somehow a popular dog’s name.
- Basil: A kind of herb. I love this idea.
- Blossom: It’s a little bit long. I don’t want to speak too much when I call my cat.
I looked at my kitten, tried out a few names, and “Basil” just seemed to fit! It was cute, a little different, and easy to say.
So, there you have it! My new kitten is officially named Basil. Mission accomplished! Now, onto the next challenge: teaching him not to scratch the furniture…
